Nokia has dominated the world market with its feature phones for more than two decades. However, with the subsequent release of Android and iOS, Nokia’s popularity gradually waned. Although the Finnish smartphone maker is back in a new way with the Android smartphone, they are still working on the feature phone as before. It has recently been revealed that the company may bring 4G support and some new features to their Nokia 6300 and Nokia 8000 series phones in the coming days.
The Nokia 6300 was first launched in 2006. The Nokia 8000, on the other hand, is not a specific model, the company has launched several phones under this series in the past. Those phones had some fun features like the slider form factor and metal casing.
Speaking of the specifications of the Nokia 7300 phone, it had a 2-inch display and a 2-megapixel camera. This phone had S40 OS i.e. Series 40 operating system, which was quite a practice at that time. Again the Nokia 6000 series devices were made with the best components. As a result, these phones had the top build quality at the time.
Meanwhile, Nokia phone maker HMD Global has not yet announced any revival of these phones. However, Nokia 6300 and Nokia 8000 phones could make a comeback in the market with KaiOS operating system and 4G connectivity, according to a report from Nokia-related portal Nokiamob.net. These models are expected to come to market with new and refreshed designs.
Interestingly, these phones may have WiFi calling technology. In fact, a carrier called Telia has released a list of some devices that support WiFi calling, including Samsung’s Galaxy series and some of Huawei’s Android phones, as well as Nokia’s feature phones.
Earlier, Nokia re-launched old phones like the Nokia 3310, Nokia 8110 4G, Nokia 5310, and Nokia 2720 Flip. So if the Nokia 6300 model or Nokia 8000 series of phones are really re-launched in the coming days, there is no reason to be surprised!
