Chinese company Huawei’s subbrand Honor today launched a fitness band called Band 6 in their domestic market. It is currently being marketed in China as a successor to the Honor Band 5 sold in India. This fitness band with rectangular displays will have an AMOLED screen, two weeks of battery life, heart rate tracker, and NFC technology. Honor Band 6 Price and Availability
Honor Band has been launched in China in two variants. One with standard and the other with NFC technology. The standard model is priced at 249 yuan (about Rs 2,600) and the NFC model is available at 269 yuan (about Rs 3,300). This fitness band will be available in Coral Powder, Meteorite Black, and Seagull Gray options. It has not been announced when it will be launched in other markets.
Honor Band 6 Specifications and Features
The fitness band has a 1.46-inch AMOLED display and 2.5D curved glass for protection. For power, you will get a 160 mAh battery in this band. Which will last up to 14 days for normal use and up to 10 days for heavy use. Honor claims that it will give 2 days battery backup with just 5 minutes of charging. More than one hundred dial faces can be selected in this band.
This fitness band is capable of working properly at depths of up to 50 meters in water. Through this, monitoring of oxygen level in the blood, 24-hour heart rate tracking, slip tracking can be done. Female users will also be able to monitor their menstrual cycle with the help of this fitness band. There are also 10 sports modes including running and cycling. The NFC variant of Honor Band 6 offers wireless payments. With this fitness band, users will also be able to view notifications and control music.
